SENIOR BACKEND ENGINEER – RUBY ON RAILS (M/W/D) | REMOTE

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve backend systems using Ruby on Rails in a high-demand production environment

• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

• Structure features, define implementation steps, and evaluate technical efforts

• Develop clean, efficient code, review contributions, and ensure stability through testing

• Contribute ideas, explore new approaches, and actively influence technical direction

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development, ideally with Ruby on Rails

• Background in fast-paced environments such as startups or high-growth tech companies

• Experience working on scalable applications with significant user activity

• Strong understanding of modern technologies (e.g. databases, caching systems) and fluent English skills

• Hands-on mentality, strong ownership, and openness to leveraging modern development tools including AI

• MUST HAVE: Professional and confident handling of sensitive or complex content environments
